Boston's Changed Spiritual Climate

From Puritan to Unitarian Universalism

Boston is one of the oldest cities in the country. Historical sites and buildings are scattered throughout, from one end to the other. Some of the grandest buildings you will find are the churches.

As a colony founded by Puritans, it isn't a surprise that Boston is rich in religious history. And though these spiritual buildings still stand tall in various areas of Boston, the beliefs practiced inside may look completely different than it did hundreds of years ago.

The posts listed are not in any chronological order.

But I recommend starting at the history to learn more about the history of how one church in Boston evolved from orthodox Puritanism to liberal Unitarian. Universalist.
